Sustainable drinking water treatment …with efficient solution

The drinking water supply is a hygiene-sensitive area that constantly brings challenges for hotels, landlords and public institutions. Undiscovered germs and contaminants can grow into a health and economic problem that must be taken seriously. Sustainable drinking water treatment is urgently advisable regarding HSE.

Avoid exceeding the limit values of the guidelines

There are numerous legal requirements for the use of drinking water that must be adhered to on a permanent basis. This includes the total germ count as well as the legionella. Anyone who, as the operator of a water supplying system or owner of a building, comes into conflict with the legal regulations regulations risks:

  • High fines & shutdowns
  • Claims for damages
  • Serious health risks for the people who use the drinking water

Legionella – harmful germs & difficult to get under control

Numerous public institutions, landlords, property and hotel owners have already dealt with them: Legionella. These are rod-shaped bacteria that feel comfortable in water supplying systems. A single legionella in drinking water is harmless and completely normal. However, if the environment offers optimal conditions for these bacteria to multiply, a single Legionella can develop into a real problem for both users of drinking water and the operators of the systems. The stubborn bacteria can cause life-threatening lung diseases and are particularly dangerous for people with weakened immune systems. If the Legionella concentration increases significantly, it had to be removed from the drinking water in any case. This is often associated with high costs and immense technical efforts. But there are alternative methods available.

Innovative drinking water sanitation – sustainable & environmentally friendly

There are different approaches to clean drinking water systems: In the first step conventional physical and chemical strategies are used for archiving permanently compliant drinking water quality. If this strategy does not lead to the desired success, parts of a system and, if necessary, the entire water supplying system are usually replaced

However, water treatment experts from MOL Katalysatortechnik GmbH have developed innovative solutions for drinking water treatment with the following properties through their patented catalyst technology:

  • Simple
  • Sustainable
  • Cost efficient

Using a MOL catalyst not only significantly reduces the demand on aggressive chemicals, but also effectively eliminates contamination from germs and limestone. Whether organic or inorganic deposits, the specialists at MOLKAT will offer an optimal solution for every kind of application for an environmentally friendly setting of a permanently compliant drinking water quality.
