The requirements for health protection and bathing comfort have steadily increased in recent years – especially in Germany. For example, the use of new filter and adsorption technologies reduces odours and minimises chlorine by-products. However, adsorption and filter media also represent a growth potential for biofilms – associated with the risk of Legionella. To prevent this, frequent changes of adsorbent and filter media are necessary. Sometimes attempts are made to extend the manual maintenance intervals by conventional high chlorination.
With long-lasting MOL catalysts, the formation of deposits in your equipment – especially on the adsorption and filter media – is reduced. The use of this special catalyst technology leads to a more efficient water treatment process according to German standard DIN 19634.
